Il Bagatto

Went for a friend's bachelorette party, and we were all on the mellow side so don't let this discourage you from trying this fun place...You walk in through the curtained front door into the dark restaurant (perfect lighting for nights out if you ask me) and are ushered down a tight staircase to a bar, where you'll inevitably end up waiting for your table, reservations or not..
There were 6 of us and we waited for about 15 minutes, rubbing elbows and bags with bar patrons, for a big central circular table upstairs.
We couldn't resist the cute waiter recommendation of caipirinhas, a normally Brazilian cocktail but delicious here...All of us went for pastas and all were happy. Though the seafood pasta was a bit of a disappointment. You'll find yourself asking for more bread and olive oil faster than they'll bring it, and we often had to hound said waiter for drinks...skip the soggy bruschetta and save room for tiramisu at the end...shared between the 6 of us...
